Steven.... Upgraded and serviced LP12
Hi John,
I've no idea what you did to my turntable but it sounds better than it ever has. I've a feeling that the Trampolin actually is a big upgrade which I am surprised at. That old Linn rythmn is back and a fair bit of extra detail as well.
I see what you mean about the bass. There's more of it than before but on the whole it's a marked improvement.

Laurence Ward... Purchased a Audio Origami PU7 tonearm and Linn upgrades
Hello Johnnie,
John from The Audio Warehouse delivered my overhauled LP12 on Friday complete with new PU7. It looks and sounds magnificent and I must thank you both for revitalising my vinyl replay equipment. It's such a pleasure to see such a beautifully crafted hand-built item - as I told John, I don't get particularly excited about tonearms, but the PU7 truly is a thing of beauty and looks so right on my LP12.
Also, many thanks for producing it so quickly - your good service is greatly appreciated. John has been a great help in sorting out my hi-fi problems and I wouldn't have known about the PU7 if he hadn't brought it to my attention. I may have had a few more £'s in my pocket but life will be so much richer now! The only down side is all the late nights from now on as I re-discover my record collection.
Again, many thanks, and I look forward to maybe meeting you at John and Trevor's show later in the year.

Hope you got back ok and had a good time Saturday.
Keeping the amp on continuously will take some getting used to, and after switching it on from cold yesterday morning the sound was quite trebly with little warmth. However, having had it on all day, by last night it was sounding amazing! The Yello album was sounding like I had never heard it before!
Are there any other Yello albums you'd recommend, cos I'm hooked!
I've had a look at the speaker cable sites, and found it very hard to determine which one to go for. To give you an idea of what I like to hear, being a bass player the bass is very important to me, so something that let's as much bass through as possible would be ideal.
The 2nd track on the Yello cd has that wonderful subharmonic bass sound - I want to get as much of that sound down the cable as possible so perhaps you can recommend which way to go.
The LP12 is stunning, Wish You Were Here has got stuff on it I'd never heard before. My friend who wants to call you was amazed, and depending how finances go with his wife's new car will determine when he calls you, but I think he went home yesterday expecting to be depressed when he put his own hifi on!

Mark who purchased some speakers..
Hi John,
Thanks for selling them to me! I got them roughly set up yesterday and powered up and started to listen. I have to say at first, they sounded a bit "flat" and uninspiring and for a moment I wondered if I had made a mistake. But after they had warmed up a bit, they really came alive. It probably also helped that I adjusted the position a bit and got the spikes good and level. Anyway, the sound coming out of them now is simply stunning. Even my wife - who has little interest in these things - had to admit that they sound incredible. I spent most of yesterday playing all sorts of stuff, including tracks I hadn't played for years and *everything* sounded terrific. So much more "space" and transparency than my old Monitor Audios. They really do need to be warmed up though, and they like to be played fairly loud for best effect.
So thanks once again - I am really delighted with them.
I will certainly try to come to your event in November if I can, and should I decide to buy any more kit (like a replacement dac / preamp perhaps?) I will definitely be in touch.

Just a note to tell you the CD player arrived safely. I plugged it in last night and was immediately impressed with the music it made. I listened for 4.5 hours ! Needless to say I'm another delighted Cyrus owner.

Just a note to say a big thank you for all your efforts re my system. Shirley and I are over the moon with the efforts you put in to our music pleasure.
Shirley loves the Vienna speakers and I can’t believe how good they are for the money! A really big thank you also to the speaker cable and interconnect choices, I have spent considerable time, money etc over the years and you made it so simple with your experience.
I will be coming to see you soon re the Sugden amplifier!
